Ask an Expert - Forum > Stonehenge's edibility

I am an artist and I'm going to do a performance that involves chewing paper and putting it on my body for a few hours. I was going to use Stonehenge. I wonder if you think your paper is safe to do this with. I assumed it was because it's bleach free, but perhaps I should just verify this with you guys before I use the paper.

Hi Susan,

Stonehenge has a slightly smoky taste, with a hint of oakiness and a subtle vanilla finish. '08 is a particularly good vintage...

Joking aside, while we don't see any reason chewing (not swallowing) paper will be harmful, we don't have any official rating for the affect our papers will have on one's body so we can't give you a definitive answer.
