Ask an Expert - Forum > Can Standream be Perfect Bound?

I have a customer that wants to uee105 lb bronze STARDREAM cover as the cover for a Perfect Bound book. The text will be printing on 100# Sterling gloss book. This book is a large coffee table book so well only get one cover out of a parent sheet of Standream and it will result in the spine running cross grain. The cover is just embossing, no print. Do you see any problems binding cross grain and will it bind (glue) to the rest of the text pages without any problem? We will be using PUR glue.
