What paper would you recommend to make a standard folder? I am an amateur, help!!

We have a lot of different paper options to choose from and we don't want to overwhelm you! Lets narrow down the list a bit together. What are some of the characteristics you're looking for? Any specific colors/ patterns? How many folders are you looking to make? Please share any helpful information.
