Hi, Is the Stonehenge sized? What is Buffered with calcium carbonate? Do you recommend paper for oil painting? Thank you, Paul

Stonehenge has internal sizing and a slight external sizing which allows the use of water media. Calcium carbonate is a chalk like substance that is used in the paper making process to prevent yellowing which is caused by acidity.

Stonehenge is used by many oil painters but keep in mind that you must prepare it with gesso before applying your oil medium.
