Stonehenge Aqua Black is lightfast. The paper is made with a sulfuric acid based dye which creates extremely strong bonds to the cotton fibers. You must use this type of coloring for any type of water media paper. Both pigment and regular liquid dye commonly used in paper coloring will bleed terribly when handled with a heavy wash or bath.
