I've been doing a lot of printing letterpress on Plike paper with great results. The only problem I've had is that it doesn't fold very well. It kind of cracks sometimes. I'm wondering how the Curious Skin compares to the Plike paper. The surface seems really similar. How well does Curious Skin score and fold in the different weights?
We have found Plike to accept scoring/folding quite well as the paper has been well accepted in the packaging industry. Without a score the paper is susceptible to cracking - and the fold is a tad cleaner with the grain. However, Plike is used for multiple folding applications and holds up very well.
Curious Touch is a nice grade and has a more soft touch velvety feel than Plike
Another paper, Curious Skin, has the least velvety feel but has a ultra super smooth surface. Much different than Touch. https://legionpaper.com/skin/
