I paint on yupo with oils/Liquin. How best to protect and preserve the paintings? Do I need varnish or another sealant? If I mat and frame with UV glass, do I need any protective coating at all or will glass serve that purpose? Thanks!
Although the UV glass will protect your artwork from the harmful UV light, it's also recommended to seal your painting with a varnish as YUPO is non-porous and any layering or paint buildup will peel off over time. The spray will prevent that from happening.
