I would like to use your Stonehenge Oil Paper to first lay some initial printed layers (via monotype or etching), and then some oil-painted accents on top. For the instances where I may be printing an etching, I'd have to soak the paper prior as it is customary for etchings. My question is: will soaking the paper in a tub of water for 10-20 minutes compromise the sizing that protects it against the damage of the oil in the oil-paints? Or will it be fine? Let me know what you think.
