Ask an Expert - Forum > Lightweight Inkjet Paper?

I am teaching two courses to photographers on the Photobook. The students are making books to be printed in offset, digital, POD or inkjet. I am looking for a text weight (80-120#) paper that will print well with Epson or Canon printers. I realize a thin paper offers certain challenges, show-through, wrinkling, which we will have to deal with. Can you suggest any papers that might fit the bill? Hand coating a sheet such as Rives lightweight might be our only option.
Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for the question. If you'll be hand-coating we suggest a text-weight paper such as Arturo (www.legionpaper.com/arturo-book-cover) or Revere (www.legionaper.com/revere).

Of course, you might be interested in our Moab family of digital paper (www.moabpaper.com) that offers you a broad range of fine art inkjet coated papers, such as the 100% cotton Entrada Rag 190gsm.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Happy to help.
