Ask an Expert - Forum > Stonehenge paper buckles after screen printing

Hello there and thanks for any advice.
I'm new to screen printing.
I purchased about 100 sheets of Stonehenge 22x30 90LB paper and after printing (2 colors) with Jacquard Versatex screen printing ink, every print seems to buckle so that when framed, you can see a definite shadow of the buckle pulling out from the printed area.
I hoped to sell these prints, but they don't seem to a quality that I can do that.
I store the paper in a flat plans chest in my attic.
Any tips most appreciated!
Best,
Christian

A hot attic could be the reason.
A circulating fan could’ve helped - most silkscreen shops have several in the work area - really helps move the air around.
Storage is key - changes in temp can wreak havoc on a print.
Try the heavy weights - also try and use a fan before, during & after printing.
Stonehenge has been in the market since 1970 with great success for silkscreen.
Hope this helps
