Arches Cover and Rives BFK are two different printmaking grades produced at the Arches Mill in France. Although both papers can be used for similar applications they have very noticeable differences. The most obvious is the surface texture; Rives BFK has a soft and smooth texture while Arches Cover has a harder more textured surface. Another significant difference is the sizing of the papers, Rives BFK is manufactured with more sizing compared to Arches Cover.
