I see where polyurethane adhesives are recommended for use with Yupo paper. However, I need to adhere small (3") pieces of Yupo painted with alcohol inks to a tissue paper covered MDF board. Wouldn't a water-based adhesive work for this application?

Although a water-based adhesive would work well with the tissue, over time the tissue could peel away from the non-porous YUPO. It's probably best to use a double-sided tape such as 3M 476XL or 3M 9456. We have also found the Gudy 831 film to be an excellent partner to YUPO. ttps://www.talasonline.com/Gudy-831
