Hi, I mounted a 24 by 24 yupo paper on a wood panel using liquitex medium gel I flattened it out turned it over put weights on it and when I looked at it in the morning there is a long crease in it I tried hitting it with a hair dryer and working the crease out but that didn't work I don't want to melt the paper and this is a commissioned piece I don't know what to do help please

Hi Cindy, we're sorry to hear about the crease. Other than what you're doing with the hair dryer, there isn't much that can be done to remove the crease. This is partly due to the plastic being dented and the memory of the dent in the plastic is difficult to erase. You can experiment by increasing the heat of your dryer so that it makes the YUPO more pliable around the crease. But you'll just need to be careful about melting the paper and damaging your paint.
