Rising Museum Board. Is it really suitable for pastel work?

Rising Museum Board is a great option for pastel work due to its vellum-like surface. Rising's cotton fiber vellum surface allows you to apply multiple layers of pastel and blend with ease. Rising is also available in weights from 1ply (Legion Drawing & Framing) to 8ply which gives you the freedom to work on a sheet like surface or a super rigid board.

You will find that Rising is an ideal substitute for other boards, especially those that are non-cotton/non archival. Rising meets the strictest of conservation standards and will last a lifetime.
