I have the Hahnemuhle copperplate etching paper with the rooster watermark. I’m not sure which side is the printable side for my etching. Is it the side where the rooster is more clearly visible and the texture is slightly rougher?

For Hahnemuhle Copperplate, the side with the watermark in the correct orientation is the front side of the sheet.

For Hahnemuhle Copperplate, the smoother feeling side is the correct printable area. The Rooster should be facing to the left when looking at the smooth printable side.
