I'm trying to find a paper similar to to Flurry 236# cover (636 gsm, 40 pt) paper. It's super thick and very stiff/ridged. I use it for postcards but don't want to have to order paper from two different sources/stores if I can avoid it.

Flurry paper was manufactured for letterpress printing and offered a soft surface that allowed deep impressions as well as good ink absorption. If producing letterpressed postcards, Lettra 220# cover (40pt) is a great alternative. Lettra is 100% cotton and offers a soft surface similar to Flurry paper.

For an elevated postcard, Somerset Satin 500gsm offers a soft and luxurious texture. This mouldmade paper is one of the finest printmaking papers in the world and its tactile quality is unmatched.

An excellent non-cotton paper option is Colorplan, which comes in 540gsm as well as 700gsm. These weights offer a thick, rigid cardstock and the slightly vellum texture adds a high level of sophistication. A unique feature of Colorplan is that the line offers 15 different colors for weights 540gsm and above.
