Would any type of the Legion Art Panels work for soft pastels?  I realize that there most likely isn’t much tooth. 

For soft pastel work, we recommend the Stonehenge Legion Artists Panel. Stonehenge has a uniform, slightly vellum surface that accepts pastel well and supports light layering and blending.

Keep in mind that Stonehenge offers a different working experience than sanded pastel papers. Sanded surfaces are designed to grab and hold heavy layers of pigment, while Stonehenge provides a softer surface that is better suited for controlled applications and more subtle layering.
